Pathibhara is a revered pilgrimage site located in the eastern part of Nepal, near the town of Taplejung, at an altitude of 3,794 meters. It is dedicated to Goddess Pathibhara, a deity believed to bring prosperity and fulfillment of wishes to those who visit her shrine. The temple is set against a stunning backdrop of snow-capped mountains, including views of the Kanchenjunga range, and is accessible by a challenging trek or a short flight followed by a hike. Trip Highlights

Day 01: Kathmandu to Ilam – Depart early morning, drive 10-12 hours (550km), cross Koshi Barrage, and arrive in Ilam by evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02: Ilam to Thulo Phedi – Drive to Thulo Phedi (165km), change vehicle at Shuletar, jeep ride to Sano Phedi, and hike to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Thulo Phedi to Phidim – Visit Pathibhara Devi Temple, then drive back to Phidim for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Phidim to Dharan – Drive to Dharan (230km), visit Kanyam Ilam and Koshi Barrage, and overnight stay in Dharan.

Day 05: Dharan to Kathmandu – Drive back to Kathmandu, with lunch enroute and scenic views of the Trishuli river, arriving by evening.

Itinerary

Day 01Drive from Kathmandu to Ilam
- Depart from Kathmandu by early in the morning approx. 10-12 hours’ drive (550km).
- Lunch enroute via the way of Ilam.
- Cross Koshi Barrage.
- Arrive in Ilam by evening, enjoy your dinner and stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 02Ilam to Thulo Phedi
- Breakfast in the hotel and drive to Phedi, which will be 165 km by a drive.
- Change another vehicle from Shuletar due to syndicate.
- Drive approx. 9km by jeep, which takes 1hrs to reach Sano Phedi.
- Hike for 1hrs to reach the hotel.
- Overnight in Thulo Phedi.
Day 03Thulo Phedi to Phidim
- Pathibhara Devi Darshan.
- Drive back to Phidim.
- Overnight in Phidim.
Day 04 Phidim to Dharan
- Drive back to Dharan (approx. 230 km)
- Visit Kanyam Ilam.
- Stop in Koshi Barrage.
- Overnight in Dharan.
Day 05Dharan to Kathmandu
- Breakfast in the hotel.
- Drive back to Kathmandu.
- Lunch enroute, enjoy scenic view of Trishuli river.
- Arrive in Kathmandu by evening.
